About Dr.Ramineni Ayyanna Chowdary
Dr Ramineni Ayyanna Choudary (Dr.R.A.C) born on 12th October 1929 in Brahmanakoduru
Village, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, was born in a farmer's family to Late Sri. Veeraiah
Chowdary and Late Smt. Kanya Kumari. His father has entry in Fine Arts in addition to the
cultivation.
Dr.R.A.C completed his school education in Guntur District and obtained Post Graduate
Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc) from Banaras Hindu University. Till 1955 he worked as a
Teacher in Palaparru, Guntur Dist, and Movva, Krishna Dist.
Dr.R.A.C left to U.S.A in 1955 for higher studies. There he completed Master of Science in
Economics and Finance followed by Doctorate from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
During the tenure of his education without depending on parents he sought own financial
resources viz., working on part time basis. Later between 1963-73 worked as Professor in
Northland College Ashland and Xavier University Cincinnati. In 1973 he took an early retirement
to devote more of his time for social and cultural activities.
Dr.R.A.C after the retirement entered in to the Real Estate Business, established Downtown
Property Management Inc., in Cincinnati Ohio State US.A., with the managerial qualities he
possessed, today the Organisation is standing in the TOP position.
Dr.R.A.C married Suguna in 1967 and they have given birth to 6 children.
Dr.R.A.C during his education in USA in 1958 he founded HINDU ASSOCIATION
OF MINNESOTA to promote Hindu Culture/Civilisation and Organised the Indian Festivals
and Social activities regularly. In his birth village he constructed a building, established
SANGEETHA SAHITYA SAMSKRUTI HINDU DHARMA NILAYAM and dedicated it to
INDIAN FINE ARTS. He also has future plans to establish KUCHIPUDI DANCE SCHOOL
under Dr.VEMPATI CHINNA SATYAM guidelines and a VEDA PATASALA etc.
Dr.R.A.C without ignoring the birth place and his family's profession has developed the
CULTIVATION ACTIVITY and rendering efficient services to the farmers.
On the occasion of the 70th birthday of Dr.R.A.C (12-10-1999), his children decided to
launch DR.RAMINENI FOUNDATION in INDIA to intensify it's social and cultural activities
and felicitate the prominent persons from various fields in recognition of their valuable services
in respective fields.
